Study, analyze and develop, critically and interdisciplinary, the conception of human rights as a process and instrumentalization of human life value recognition and of social and political transformation.
a) To raise the major contemporary issues relevant to human rights: their nature, objectives, specificity, applicability and effectiveness.
b) To examine the methodologies which are capable of providing answers and directions to the complex, diversified and concrete relations with the State.
c) To provide theoretical and practical elements that encourage and support education which is, permanently and potentially, focused on instrumentalizing a new exercise of human rights in society.
d) To enable the integration of post-graduation with graduation courses and of the university with society.
