The operating rules of the Master´s program at the stricto sensu postgraduate level are described in the Program Regulation.
Selection process
Applicants will be selected, respecting the criteria previously established in the Announcement. Anyway the selection process will be done as follows:
a) Written test;
b) Analysis of the Lattes curriculum;
c) Analysis of the research intention proposal;
d) Interview.
Foreign language proficiency
Students should demonstrate proficiency in Spanish or in English within the period of one year after entering the Master's Course. That is a prerequisite for the dissertation defense.
Obtaining the Master`s Degree in Law
To obtain the Master's Degree in Law, students must complete 480 hours in the course, as follows: 210 hours of mandatory disciplines, 180 hours of elective disciplines (being 120 hours in the research line linked to the program), 30 hours of complementary activities and 60 hours of orientation (including the defense of the dissertation project) and the dissertation public defense.
