Neuroscience studies the central nervous system in a context integrating basic and clinical sciences. It firstly aims to understand the operation of a normal brain, and subsequently to comprehend the pathological process and its treatment. While Neurochemistry and Neurophysiology are based on basic sciences, Psychology, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry are based on clinical sciences.
