Unesc is located in Criciúma, in the State of Santa Catarina, 200 km from the capital Florianópolis. The institution, with more than 55 years of history, is considered by the RUF * (Ranking Universitário Folha) as the best nonpublic university in the state of Santa Catarina.

The place where you will live

Criciuma is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities, with over 180 thousand residents. Despite a predominantly Italian colonization, the county received immigrants from various parts of the world. Proof of this diversity is found an annual festival called "Festa das Etnias", which is celebrated by attractions multicultural union of peoples. Today, the city Criciúma is considered polo in southern Santa Catarina highlighting the economic and social development.

It is also possible to visit beautiful landscapes in nearby towns. Beaches, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, canyons and much more can be reached by 30 minutes 30 on road.

International scholars

The deadlines for submission of applications for international scholars are as follows:

• 1st semester - October 31st (results available from November 1st)
• 2nd semester - May 31st (results available from June 1st)

Requirements:

• • Letter of introduction from the Office of International Relations of the home university.

How to apply for the exchange program:

• • Fill out the application form and study plan
• • Send the scanned academic transcript, passport or identification document, application form, and study plan to the email: iro@unesc.net.
• • The Office of International Relations will notify the home university and the applicant of their acceptance through an acceptance letter.
